Janine Bauer began her martial arts journey in 2017 and quickly progressed to earn her Zen Do Kai 2nd Degree Black Belt. Along the way, she has faced her share of challenges, but her consistency and willingness to keep showing up have shaped who she is today, both on and off the mats.
Janine has dedicated much of her journey not only to her own training but to becoming an instructor and leader within the club. She has completed our leadership program and certification, and now plays a key role in teaching the Little Dragon program for 4 to 5-year-olds.
Working with young children is where Janine truly shines. She brings patience, enthusiasm, and a calm, nurturing presence to every class, helping kids learn the foundations of martial arts in a fun and engaging way. Through her teaching, she supports children to build confidence, focus, and discipline from an early age.
Outside the dojo, Janine enjoys drawing and spending time riding horses, bringing the same creativity and care into her training and teaching.
